NEWS & UPDATES

MEMBERSHIPS

SEPTEMBER 9 2021

How to join our club?

Due to the nature of the current situation we have introduced a social fee, this will allow you to participate in social aspects of the club as well as online development sessions. Then we have our normal shooting fee which is split into 2 options, annual and 1 semester only. For this membership we only accept beginners in the beginning of each undergraduare term due to our Beginner's Course running then.
The cost of each is as follows:

Social fee: £5 (Not necessary if buying the shooting fee)
Student Shooting fee Student (Annual): £50
Student Shooting fee (1 semester): £30
Staff/Alumni Shooting fee (Annual): £20

How to pay the right fees?
If you have not already payed the Sports Union fee, this will be added to your basked automatically and it will explain why. Once you have payed it once you can join as many sports clubs as you want that academic year without having to pay it again. It is £1
5 and is not a fee that goes to the club.

So if you are interested, head to https://www.ausa.org.uk/sports/club/archery/ to purchase you membership.

Once you have purchased our memberships, go ahead and join our members only Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/21294724904/

See you soon! 🏹

Taster Session

Free taster session, where you get to shoot a few arrows, tutored 1-1 by an experienced archer. We organise several of these at the very beginning of each semester before the start of our beginners course.

Due to the resources of the club and the nature of the sport we are unable to host extra taster sessions throughout the year for beginners.

Next set will be held sometime in January, dates and times TBC.

Experienced archers can join at any time in the year but should get in touch in the first instance so we can arrange a safety briefing and equipment check.
